Building inspection for BC municipalities and government.
Relief inspections when your building department is short-staffed, code consulting and bylaw review, and post-disaster building inspections.
Cover for your building department.
A small building department can lose its only inspector to a resignation, a retirement or a well-earned holiday, and permits don't stop coming in while council hires a replacement. Eddy steps in for that stretch. He does the inspections, keeps the permit files moving and, when it's needed, runs the building office until the new hire starts.
He's covered for the City of Prince George while they were between inspectors and for Fort Nelson's only building inspector while he took time off. He's also worked for the City of Merritt and several other small BC municipalities. At Sun Peaks and the District of Sicamous he managed the building department itself, doing the inspections at the same time, and he's done building bylaw work for both.
